GPUForge reads the GPU performance counters Windows already exposes, which means utilisation, VRAM, the per-engine breakdown and the per-process table all work across NVIDIA, AMD and Intel without installing a vendor SDK. The per-engine view is the useful part: it folds the raw counters into 3D, Copy, Video and Compute, so you can tell a rendering load from a video encode from a background compute job. VRAM is shown as dedicated and shared against the total, and a sortable live table names the processes responsible. On NVIDIA cards it also reads temperature, power draw, fan speed and core and memory clocks through nvidia-smi, which ships with the driver — on AMD and Intel those sensors show as unavailable, because no vendor-neutral keyless API exposes them. Alerts, recording, CSV and JSON export, snapshots and a mini monitor round it out.
